We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to oversee our technical investment projects. Your location will be in Sweden, in our Ala or Gruvön sawmills and you will be working in Wood Products Division. You will report to the Head of Project Excellence & PMO.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible to develop, lead, and successfully implement our future technical investment projects according to our standards and growth strategy. Your tasks will include developing ideas from the concept phase until final acceptance of new technologies, machinery and complimentary equipment. Creating project drafts and business plans and run feasibility studies. You will collect ideas and solutions from different suppliers as well as collect budget offers for cost estimates. In the purchasing process, together with Sourcing team, you will e.g. meet and negotiate with suppliers, prepare documents for tendering process and take part in the contract work. As a Technical Project Manager, you will also have an important task in leading the project team during the project and manage the project implementation until final acceptance. You act also as a role model according to our company safety approach and stay aligned with our winning culture.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Completed education (higher technical college, university degree) and profound technical knowledge
Knowledge and practical experience in project management
Experience in wood processing industry is an asset
Good team leading and communication skills
Good MS-Office skills (Excel/PowerPoint) and AutoCAD
Proactive, result oriented mindset and willing to take initiative and responsibility
Capability to work in international teams and independently
Good Swedish and English skills (other languages are an advantage)
Willingness to travel 20 – 25 % of total working time
