In the role of production manager, you are responsible for the production of timber until it reaches the customer. You supervise and develop the operations of 4 to 6 contractor teams. Examples of tasks include monitoring production plans regarding volumes and assortment, pricing of harvesting services, health/safety work, quality monitoring, and environmental issues within the area of responsibility.
As a production manager, you work in a broad and varied role with many different aspects. You work on tasks such as production issues, supervision, nature conservation matters mixed with improvement work. You alternate between working in the office and spending an equal amount of time in the forest.
To succeed in this job, it is necessary for you to have an interest in people, forests, and technology. You need to be well-organized and have good collaboration skills. You should be an engaged individual who is customer-oriented and has an interest in working with people.

We require you to be fluent in Estonian and English, both spoken and written, as you will be working with contractors who speak these languages. You have forestry education or have acquired equivalent knowledge through other means. A valid driver's license (Class B) is required for this position.
